Draycott Hotel Review, Chelsea, London

The dark wood, plush upholstery and eclectic prints of the common areas are carried through to the bedrooms. There are 35, each named after a celebrated actor or writer and come with a selection of books. They all come with a slightly different colour palette, but expect heavy drapes, comfortable beds and, in the suites, luxurious details, such as glass chandeliers, a writing desk and open fire.

Guests’ welcome includes homemade shortbread and a teddy bear wearing a greeting note. Some suites come with small kitchens. Suite bathrooms include a bath and powerful shower.
